We Amplify Public Media & Technology.

We seek out low-power radio stations, media arts and technology centers, rural broadband initiatives, media reform policy advocates and anyone building a strong and diverse public media infrastructure.

We then pair those organizations with a tech-savvy, full-time and on-site AmeriCorps*VISTA member to create and support specific capacity-building projects.

About Us

Digital Arts Service Corps members work to build the capacity of the individual organizations where they serve and collaborate with other VISTAs on the development of resources, trainings, and related projects. Through their work the Project endeavors to build a network that facilitates collaboration, support, and the sharing of ideas among a diverse group of participating organizations. While any organization using media and technology is a potential partner, we seek out low-power radio stations, media arts and technology centers, rural broadband initiatives, media reform policy advocates and anyone building a strong and diverse public media infrastructure.

The Digital Art Corps is an initiative of the Transmission Project, a grantee of the Massachusetts state office of the Corporation for National and Community Service, is located at the College of Public and Community Service at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
