Hi folks,
I just called the Omni Shoreline Hotel (202-234-0700) where the NTEN
conference is taking place and learned that there are now hotel rooms
available (there weren't on Monday).
I suggest you jump on it and reserve rooms ASAP.
Ben

Jump on what? I'm not in any position to reserve a hotel anywhere. Sorry
this is all confusing to me. I don't have a handle on how allt his works, I
suppose.
But as is stated my organization has to send me to a conference, so they are
the ones that will be setting anything up and reserving anything, not I.
Shouldn't they be getting these messages?
Sorry if I'm off base here. At any rate, I'll be bringing the NTEN up to
Jeanne, my supervisor, when she returns next Monday, she had to go to
Florida to move her dad into an assisted living facility.
Peace,
Rich

hey richard~
supervisors are getting the messages (or should be) -- that's what the
ctcvista-supervisors@lists.ctcvista.org list is about.
i noticed that only because my supervisor isn't here anymore and i am
the one in charge of his old stuff, so emails sent to his old address
get forwarded to me. i got some of these messages (the ones sent to the
supervisors too) twice and had to think about it before realizing why.

Hi Rich,
You are right that your supervisor or some other member of
organization should be taking care of the conference registration,
your travel arrangements, and paying for the hotel and other expenses
but YOU could reserve the hotel room yourself simply to assure that
you get one. Reserving the room doesn't mean that you have to be the
one to pay for it.
Best,
Paul
