Draft of a "Vision" Statement for the CTC VISTA Project

New VISTA Leaders Ben, Aliya, & I talked about how it's a bit frustrating that CTC VISTAs are particularly bad at introducing themselves as part of the Project and explaining the Project's purpose. This "vision" statement is an attempt to come up with a clear blurb for CTC VISTAs to use to explain the Project's goals:
The Community Technology Centers VISTA Project (CTC VISTA) supports organizations that utilize community media and technology through the placement of year long AmeriCorps volunteers.
These volunteers work to cultivate:
- the program capacity of each local organization and,
- a meaningful collaborative network among non-profit with related goals for social change.
The Project sustains and expands this network using new media and technology tools and practices, while encouraging the free exchange of ideas and resources.
