So, first of all, it was great hanging out with everyone at the PSO in Boston this year. We have a really great crew this year, which makes it a fun and challenging time to become a VISTA Leader, and I'm really looking forward to the next 12 months.

Arrive in Boston, June 19th, first trip to the city. Looking forward to working with CTC and Head on Fire, San Diego. Orientation is great so far, alot of good useful information. Just miss my baby.

Hwllo everyone, Im here.... what did I get myself into????

It was a long day of travel to get here yesterday for all of us. Today was not as bad as we had been warned, although there was a lot of paperwork and random information disseminated. I seem to have it a bit easier because I am essentially going back home to start work; therefore I am not as concerned with the living logistics of another city. The leaders have been personalable and accessible.

Felicia Sullivan presented at last week's Pre-Service Orientation (PSO) about "The Three C's of NPTech: Contacts, Communication, Cash." My name is Kevin Bulger and I am a new CTC VISTA member. I am from Michigan, but I will be volunteering in Miami for the next year. 

For right now, I am sitting in the computer lab here typing in my first blog entry. Boston is awesome and I have been having a good time at the PSO. I am looking forward to serving with the Collins Center for the next year.
